Plenty of kale please! Every cabbage trip has a destination: the big steaming bowl of green-brown winter vegetables, enriched with lots of sausage and meat.
From the first frost right through to March, people in Lower Saxony and Bremen cross the fields with handcarts, schnapps and playthings to finally eat kale with Kassler and Pinkel in an inn.
